【摘要】:ThispartofISO18192definesatestprocedurefortherelativeangularmovementbetweenarticulatingcomponents,andspecifiesthepatternoftheappliedforce,speedanddurationoftesting,sampleconfigurationandtestenvironmentforusefortheweartestingoftotalintervertebralspinaldiscprostheses.Bothlumbarandcervicalprosthesesareaddressed.ThispartofISO18192isnotapplicabetopartialdiscreplacements,suchasnucleusreplacementsorfacetjointreplacements.Thetestmethodfocusesonweartesting.Additionalmechanicaltests,suchasfatiguetesting,canberequired.ThispartofISO18192doesnotreproducethecomplexinvivoloadsandmotions.Theweardataobtainedwiththistestmethodenablescomparisonbetweendifferenttypesofimplants,butcandifferfromtheclinicalwearperformance.TheuserofthispartofISO18192canconsiderrunningadditionalweartestsaddressingspecificsafetyissuesoftheindividualimplantdesignundertest.
