【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthebasicdesignrequirementsfortheselectionofagasexplosionventingprotectivesystem.ThisEuropeanStandard,EN14797andEN14460formaseriesofthreestandardswhichareusedtogether.NOTE1Thesethreestandardstogetherrepressenttheconcepttheconceptpfgasexplosionventing.NOTE2ToavoidtransferofexplosionstoothercommunicatingequipmentoneshouldalsoconsiderapplyingprEN15089.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicableto:-ventsizingtoprotectagainsttheinternslpressureeffectsofagasexplosion;-flameandpressureeffectsoutsidetheenclosure;-recoilforces;-influenceofventducts;-influenceofinitialtemperatureandpressure.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotprovidedesignandapplicationrulesagainsteffectsgeneratedbydetonationreactionsorrunawayexothermicreactionsincludingdecompositioninthegasphase.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicableto:-firerisksarisingeitherfrommaterialsprocessed,usedorreleasedbytheequipmentorfrommaterialsthatmakeupequipmentandbuildings;-design,constructionandtestingofexplosionventingdevices,whichareusedtoachieveexplosionventing﹤up1﹚﹥;-protectionagainstoverpressurescausedbueventssuchasoverfilling,overpressurisation,fireengulfment,overheatingetc.NOTE3ProtectionbyventingagainstdustandhybridexplosionsisspecifiedinEN14491.
