【摘要】:Testsperformedatthesamelocationacrossaspanofyearsmaybeusedtodetectareductionofinfiltrationrateoftheperviousconcrete,therebyidentifyingtheneedforremediation.Theinfiltrationrateobtainedbythismethodisvalidonlyforthelocalizedareaofthepavementwherethetestisconducted.Todeterminetheinfiltrationrateoftheentireperviouspavementmultiplelocationsmustbetestedandtheresultsaveraged.Thefieldinfiltrationrateistypicallyestablishedbythedesignengineerofrecordandisafunctionofthedesignprecipitationevent.Thistestmethoddoesnotmeasuretheinfluenceonin-placeinfiltrationrateduetosealingofvoidsnearthebottomoftheperviousconcreteslab.Visualinspectionofconcretecoresisthebestapproachfordeterminingsealingofvoidsnearthebottomoftheperviousconcreteslab.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthefieldwaterinfiltrationrateofinplaceperviousconcrete.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesshallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.
