【摘要】:1.1Thisterminologyisintendedtonameanddocumenttheprincipalconcepts,andtheirassociatedterms,thatareutilizedinthehealthcareinformationdomainandallofitsspecializedsubdomains.Itisapplicabletoallareasofhealthcareaboutwhichinformationiskeptorutilized.Itisintendedtocomplementandutilizethoseconceptsalreadyidentifiedbyothernationalandinternationalstandardsbodies.Itwillidentifyalternateacceptedtermsforthesameconceptanditselectedterm.Itstermsareintendedtoclarifyandsimplifyusageinthedialoganddocumentationabouttheconcepts,processesanddatathatareusedtoschedule,conductandmanageallphasesofhealthcare.Thiscommonusagewillimprovethequalityandmanagementofallfacetsofhealthcarebymeansofexplicitinformationusedinreferringtoeachofthesefacets.Thesehealthinformaticstermshavebeencollectedherespecificallyinordertofacilitatetheconsistentuseofcommonconceptsininformaticsstandardsdevelopmentandusethroughouthealthcare.AseparateprocessfromthisstandardthatisdescribedinISO15188willmanagetheapprovalofbiomedicalandhealthcareterms.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
