【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmaterial,design,structuralperformance,andmanufacturingpracticerequirementsformonolithicorsectionalcorrugatedpolyethylenegreaseinterceptortankswithvolumesequaltoorgreaterthan333gal(1,260L).1.2Thecorrugatedhighdensitypolyethylene(HDPE)greaseinterceptortanksareplacedbetweencommercialfoodservice(kitchen)drainsandsanitarysewerinterceptorstominimizetheimpactofcommercialfoodserviceeffluentcontaininggrease,oils,soapscumandothertypicalcommercialfoodservicewastesonthesanitarysewersystem.Typicalsourcesofcommercialkitcheneffluentarescullerysinks,potandpansinks,dishwashers,soupkettlesandfloordrainswheregreasecontainingmaterialsmayexist.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4ThisspecificationcoverspipeandfittingsforhorizontallylaidcorrugatedHDPEgreaseinterceptortanksasillustratedinFig.1.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
